HASS AVOCADO

The Hass Avocado is a small black fruit with corrugated skin. It is known because it contains a high oil content, it has a very smooth texture, an exquisite flavor and a thick skin that makes it easy to transport abroad. We harvest our avocados by the best producers, respecting the environment and the well-being of the workers.

Indications to keep the fruit fresh

For green-mature fruits, temperatures of 5 - 13 ºC (with physiological or harvest maturity) are used, depending on the cultivar and the duration of the low temperature. For avocados ripe for consumption, the optimum temperature is 4 - 7 ºC.

  • The Hass avocado is a fruit known for its excellent flavor and its great qualities as a contributor of vitamins. Its omega 3 content takes care of our cardiovascular system; It is also rich in healthy fats (monounsaturated) and prevents us from accumulating harmful fats that can cause us diseases.

  • The avocado has such important vitamins as A, C, D, K and group B. Its magnesium content favors the proper functioning of the nervous system, muscles and the small intestine. Being rich in fiber, it regulates blood sugar levels. It is rich in vitamin E, so it is very beneficial to delay aging.

  • Hass Avocado can be eaten straight (raw) and cooked, using it more as a vegetable than a fruit.

  • Unlike other fresh fruits, Hass avocado lacks the sweet or sour taste, this allows it to be combined with many foods. It can be eaten fresh with ingredients such as crab and ham. Also, you can cook it in salads, drinks, platters, soups, and cakes.
